To tie in with the National R U OK Day on Thursday September 14 - which inspires and empowers everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and to support anyone struggling with life by starting the conversation around mental health – I am hosting “The MHFA for Suicidal Person”. This will provide you with practical skills and knowledge about how to safely support when someone is experiencing suicidal thoughts and behaviours and allows you to practice these skills in a safe environment.
Join us at this 4hr Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person on Thursday 14 September 2017 from 1pm to 4pm. Space are limited so make your booking now here
Honoured for the invitation to guest speak at this event. Emily's List is about women supporting each other. It is about advancing the values of equity (equal rights and priviledges for women ), work life balance for families through achievable, affordable, quality and flexible chilcare, equal pay for women, diversity by increasing women participation in boards, politics and courts etc, about choice! I cannot wait to share my thoughts around this.
